Josie Hungerford is Director of Growth & Legal Counsel at Trilogy Hotels, Australia’s fastest-growing independent white-label hotel management company. In this role, Josie leads Trilogy Hotels’ portfolio growth strategy and large-scale corporate projects, including the identification, negotiation, and execution of new hotel management opportunities across Australia and New Zealand.
Before joining Trilogy, Josie served as Associate Director of Development at Radisson Hotel Group, where she was responsible for sourcing and securing hotel management and franchising agreements across Australia, New Zealand, and the South Pacific. She led deal structuring, negotiated terms and ancillary agreements, and assessed the commercial viability of development opportunities through comprehensive market research.
Josie began her career as a corporate lawyer, advising multinational clients across diverse jurisdictions on hotel, resort, and mixed-use transactions, commercial dispute resolution, and international regulatory matters, a legal foundation that informs her owner-centric, outcome-driven approach to every growth opportunity.
Beyond her professional career, Josie represented Queensland in elite-level netball as both player and captain for more than five years, winning the Australian National Netball Championship in 2014. Josie holds a Bachelor of Laws and Bachelor of Justice from the Queensland University of Technology, graduating with Second Class Honours, Division A, and was nominated for the Global Undergraduate Awards (Law Category) in 2020.
