Josie Hungerford is Trilogy Hotels’ Director of Growth & Corporate Affairs. In this role Josie leads Trilogy’s portfolio growth and large-scale corporate projects.

Before joining Trilogy, Josie was a highly regarded Associate Director of Development at Radisson Hotel Group. In her role she was responsible for sourcing and securing hotel management and franchising opportunities in Australia, New Zealand and the South Pacific, including the negotiation of deal terms and ancillary agreements. Her expertise also lies in evaluating the commercial viability of potential deals through comprehensive market research.

Beginning her career as a corporate lawyer, Josie spent several years advising multinational clients across diverse jurisdictions and collaborating with international offices on multi-jurisdictional matters. Her experience includes hotel, resort and mixed-use transactions as well as commercial dispute resolution and international regulatory matters regulations.

Possessing a deep understanding of owners’ commercial objectives, Josie brings a creative and outcome-driven approach to each opportunity, ensuring a flexible, bespoke and optimal outcome for each owner and partner.

Beyond her professional career, Josie has dedicated many years to elite-level netball. She represented Queensland as both a player and captain at national championships for over 5 years, winning the Australian National Netball Championship in 2014. Before moving to Sydney in 2023, Josie served as a mentor and leader to over 20 athletes within the USC Thunder Netball organisation.

Josie received a Bachelor of Laws and a Bachelor of Justice from Queensland University of Technology, graduating with Second Class Honours, Div A. She was also nominated for the Global Undergraduate Awards (Law Category) in 2020.
