Tony Ryan is Executive Chair of Trilogy Hotels, an independent hotel management company he co-founded in 2023 with Scott Boyes and Grant Alchin.

Tony has over 35 years of experience providing commercial and legal advice to hotel and real estate owners, operators, developers, and financiers across the globe.

In 2021, Tony reactivated Ryan Capital Partners, an independent advisory company offering M&A, restructuring, and capital-raising services for hotels, mixed-use, and other operational real estate.

In 2015, Tony was appointed global head of M&A in JLL’s Hotels & Hospitality Group (based in Singapore and London) and established a unique business sourcing and advising on transactions of hotel management platforms and portfolios, including Accor’s US$940 million takeover of Mantra Group. Prior to the role with JLL, Tony was a leading industry commercial and legal advisor.

Tony is a member of the International Society of Hospitality Consultants (ISHC), a graduate of the Advanced Management Program, School of Hotel Administration, Cornell University, and holds a law degree from the University of Sydney.
